Prayer Network with MARY online at least until 31 May 2020

together, at home, worldwide

A time of crisis can be a time of grace

The worldwide corona crisis is shaking us up and poses massive questions to many people, which have been more in the background until now. Where is my life anchored? Where do I find protection? What will sustain me in this crisis? What really counts? Where is God?

"But you, LORD, do not stay far off; my strength, come quickly to help me." (Ps 22, 20)

Much grace can come out of the crisis: turning to God anew, repenting, trusting in him.

As a Schoenstatt prayer community, we know that we are now even more united in prayer with one another, even beyond national borders, and in solidarity with all people.

"Prayer is a great power in the Kingdom of God", Father Kentenich could say.

With the help of an Online Prayer Plan we invite that we visibly unite ourselves into an even more conscious prayer network.  The times are indicated here in CET.

Perhaps it will also be possible, because of the time difference in the individual countries, to have someone pray around the world around the clock, every hour.

Several people can also register for each hour.

If you don't want to pray a whole hour, talk to someone else and divide this time between you.

The e-mail address you have entered is only visible for login. It will only be used for information and contact for the Prayer Network initiative.

Prayer Network with Mary

Together with Mary, let us ask the Lord for His grace in this special time, for us, for our families, for our countries, for the people who have fallen ill with the virus, for the helpers, for the politicians, for the dying and those who have already gone home.

Let us place ourselves and our everyday life, which has changed so much, at the disposal of the Blessed Mother. She is the great missionary! Through her Schoenstatt Shrine she can make this time of crisis a time of grace for many people:

A time in which we can find our homeland anew in God, a time in which we can give God space in our hearts, a time in which we can find transformation and healing in the Holy Spirit, and a time in which we are enabled anew to bear witness to God's love.

Place and time

- Choose a time that suits you.

- Choose a suitable location:
prayer corner at home or,
if you have the opportunity, in a church.-

- Enter your hour in the OnlinePlan "Prayer Network with Mary".

How to pray?

- Look forward to your encounter with Jesus.

- Begin with the sign of the cross, consciously place yourself under the blessing of the cross and unite with Mary, the mother of Jesus and our mother!

- Breathe deeply. Switch off. Become still: "Jesus, I am here now, and you are here for me. Thank you for looking at me and knowing about me. Thank you for dying on the cross for me and wanting to give me eternal life with you."

- First tell Jesus what moves you. Spread out before Him your worries and questions, your joy or your thanks. Bring to HIM all the people for whom you ask for HIS special blessing.

- Then listen, listen to what HE wants to tell you in your heart.

- Linger in a dialogue, like with a good friend.

- You can also pick up the Scriptures, read a passage and talk to Jesus about it.

- Perhaps you also have specific prayers that you would like to pray at this time.

- Towards the end of the prayer time you thank the Lord for this time together. Thank Him for everything He has told you and will give you in the future.

- Close your time of prayer with the sign of the cross again and ask HIM to join you in your daily life. Tell Him that you are looking forward to the next prayer time.

With the Adoration Sisters in Schoenstatt

With pleasure you can also unite yourself spiritually with us, Schoenstatt Adoration Sisters. From 6:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., we conduct daily Eucharistic adoration in the Adoration Chapel and we especially represent those who are united with us, with Jesus and in our Adoration Shrine.
